Blood Warriors Foundation ("Blood Warriors," "we," "us," "our") operates the Thalassemia Dashboard, a platform for managing thalassemia-related medical test records, reports, and screening data. This Privacy Policy applies to the Thalassemia Dashboard and its users (contributors, reviewers, admins, and patients). By using the Dashboard, you accept this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What We Collect

We collect information you provide and data generated through use:

• Account and profile data: name, email, phone, date of birth, center or affiliation, role.
• Health and test data: medical test results (e.g., HPLC), reports, test records, screening data. Sensitive medical data may be encrypted end-to-end using your password or with application-level encryption.
• Usage and technical data: IP address, device and browser type, log files, and analytics needed for security and functionality.

3. How We Use Information

We use data to operate the Dashboard, including managing reports, coordinating reviews, and providing health tracking and risk assessment features. We produce anonymized or aggregated statistics for the public dashboard. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security and Encryption

Sensitive medical data is encrypted using AES-GCM-256 where applicable. Access is controlled by role-based permissions. We apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. We follow applicable standards including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) where relevant.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data. You may export your data where the service allows. Contact us to exercise these rights. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and test data while your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete or de-identify data within a reasonable period, subject to limited operational or legal needs.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Dashboard may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced on the Dashboard or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
